David Salisbury is the Director of Strategic Client Development at Mintz, where he partners with firm leadership and attorneys to design and advance enterprise‑level client strategies. He focuses on strengthening key executive relationships and driving sustainable revenue growth by aligning legal services with the strategic business priorities of CEOs, CFOs, and General Counsel.
David works with C-suite leaders to help them navigate legal and business complexity through strategic guidance and cross practice collaboration. His work includes:
- Aligning legal services with clients’ organizational goals and priorities
- Designing enterprise client strategies that drive long term partnerships
- Connecting clients with the appropriate Mintz legal teams and industry insights
- Facilitating cross practice coordination to support high value business initiatives
- Strengthening client experience and deepening executive level engagement
With two decades of experience at Mintz, David has contributed to the firm’s growth strategy, market expansion, and brand development across California, New York, Washington, DC, and Canada. He has helped shape integrated business development, client experience, alumni relations, branding, and go‑to‑market programs that support both practice‑specific and firm‑wide objectives.
Before joining Mintz, David served as National Marketing Manager for a nationally recognized law firm, where he advised partners on business development, client targeting, public relations, thought leadership, and market positioning. His earlier career includes senior marketing leadership roles, such as National Marketing Manager for ARRK Product Development Group and Marketing Director for HOIST Fitness Systems, where he developed expertise in corporate communications, brand strategy, and growth‑oriented marketing.
Outside of his professional role, David is an active community leader. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Corporate Directors Forum, is Corporate Sponsorship Chair for Sharp HospiceCare’s Annual Benefit Dinner and Regatta, and remains closely involved with the University of San Diego Alumni Association, where he is a Board Member and Co‑Chair of the USD Capital Campaign Alumni Committee. He also collaborates with organizations such as Access Youth Academy, reflecting his commitment to connecting strategy with purpose across the business, civic, and nonprofit sectors.
