Willy concentrates his practice on corporate and securities law, early-stage and venture-backed companies, and general corporate matters. He works with public and private companies in a variety of industries, including technology, financial services, and life sciences.

Willy first joined Mintz as a Summer Associate. Prior to beginning law school, he worked as a paralegal for the Institutional Investor Class Action Recovery practice in Mintz’s Boston office and interned at the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office. While attending law school, he also interned for the Enforcement Division of the US Securities & Exchange Commission.

Willy earned his JD from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he served as a submissions editor for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and was a member of the Environmental Law Quarterly. Prior to transferring to Berkeley, he completed the 1L curriculum at Vanderbilt University Law School. Willy also earned a BA in politics and environmental studies from Bates College.

He is based in the San Francisco office.
